Thanks Guys for the comfortable welcoming! I actually need a little help Identifying the vise I purchased last night from someone on OfferUp, and if im not over thinking I may have acquired a Diamond for the price of saw dust.

The only thing that I can find on the Vise itself if a stamp that says 39 and the brand Colombian. Any help with finding out the particulars of it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance!

Don't ask.
$50 sounds like a fair price for a usable vise. Is the handle bent?
I'm not an expert or collector and may be wrong but I believe you can buy the same vise new (under different brand names) for $150-200.

Looks like your run of the mill Chinese rotating vise; not a diamond, but you got a perfectly usable vise and if the grinder works, you did well.

They switched over to the blue Wilton version when they killed the Columbian brand. It's since been replaced again by a newer Wilton.

I have a rotating vice much like that, and it's served me well. I bought it in the mid 1990's, and has been used regularly since.

Sorry, I don't have any specific info related to that vice, I just wanted to offer encouragement towards your excellent purchase.
