I have been racking my brain for the last two days on what those combination bolt and screws are called. You know, one end is threaded for a nut and the other is threaded like a screw to be turned into wood.
Can you help me restore my sanity?
Thanks,

McMaster-Carr calls them "Wood Screw Threaded Studs"

Always called them Lag Screws. I think a lot of these terms depend on where you are raised. Different areas of the country have several different names for the same item.
