Combination Wrenches- Zero or 15 degree offset

Just looking to get your opinions on a combination wrench set. The set I have now is non ratcheting and 15 degree offset. I was thinking of upgrading to a zero offset ratcheting set. Trying to find out the pros and cons of both. Haha I would like to not keep both sets cause I know I will get those responses. Maybe I can though.

You need both, as ratcheting wrenches are a LOT bulkier around the head, which is an issue for clearance very often, and they are a lot heavier too, which is not too big a deal. zero offset causes several problems for many fasteners.

I've got an old set of MAC 0 degree offset ratcheting wrenches and they Definantly have there place. I reach for them just as much if not more than my 15 degree ratcheting wrenches.

If you only need one set of wrenches, I'd stick with 15 degree non ratcheting combos. You can link them for more turning power, you can't do that with the ratcheting wrenches, especially the zero degree offsets on a flush surface. Also, you will also find that the thicker box end of the GearWrenchs will not fit in some tight spaces.

I have the flex non reversible, zero degree non reversible and 15 degree reversible ratcheting GearWrenchs. Whenever I encounter a stuck fastener I always use my non ratcheting combos (or socket + breaker if clearance allows).
