I have recently gotten into woodworking as a hobby. I have a 25 x27 garage currently with a steevo inspired bench with two 44 inch HF tool boxes. I have always been into wrenching but just recently interested in woodworking. My garage houses my motorcycle and 4 wheeler as well. I was wondering if anybody had combo garages where they were able to do both hobbies. Lets see some pics of your set up

I do some mechanic work, paint and body work, metal work, wood work, plus anything else that comes along out of my garage. It can get crazy without the space dedicated to one mission. The thing that helps is always pick up after yourself and put things away. You will need a wide variety of tools and equipment, plus materials of what your working on. Having them picked up and stored away after the job really helps.

I have my wood tools on wheels & stored in a shed with concrete drive conecting them. My band saw is a metal/wood with a gear box. A place for everything & everything in its place!

i try to keep wood and metal separated.

most of my wood cutting happens in the basement, unless i've got a lot of wood to cut for an outside project.
way too many sparks flying around in the garage. i do most of my wrench turning in the driveway in front of the garage.

my garage is more of a big tool storage building with an overhead door...

My garage being an old gas station/convenience store has two different sides. I try to do mechanical work on one side and leave the woodworking/home projects on the other side.

I know from experience that trying to cram too many types of activities into a small space becomes very frustrating. Even with most large items mounted on wheels, it's a nuisance to it always being necessary to put everything away at the end of a productive day of creating, only to drag it all out again for tomorrow's, on and on... The only satisfying solution is a bigger work space.
