Hi All, Need some thoughts here. I am doing a garage reno that involves lighting, insulating, heating and wall covering. Still some decisions for wall/ceiling coverings but an set on lighting (LED recessed) and heating using Comfort Cove Radiant heat elements that mount on high wall. These two are set in stone.
I was planning to look at PVC, steel, FRP, aluminum and other wall/ceiling coverings. The ceiling will be covered with one of those over 5/8 Fireboard but walls will not have drywall. Just insulated and panels.
Planning PVC, but concern with heat tolerance with cove heaters. Save responses about using cove heat as there are several reasons surrounding safety, smart home technology and installation costs that make it a done deal.
So I'm looking for suggestions from the forum on a recommended wall and ceiling covering that is bright white, moisture resistant and durable for a very active garage environment. Design wise walls mat want to be a smooth finish, for ceiling, maybe some type of design (groove?) to break things up so it does not look too much like my freezer. Will also need to sit somewhat flush with recessed LED trims that are in place.
Ideas? Any pics would be helpful as well as I am looking for other design ideas.
Thx
