commander breakers any value?

I acquired some commander panels that were working take outs from a building I work in due to upgrades. they are bolt down breakers and are double 40 amp, double 20, double 15 and single 15's . I believe they are all in groups of 4 breakers
Not sure if they have any value, pay for shipping and the breakers are yours

they were in apt kitchens so some of them are a tad greasy but I suspect they would clean up just fine

Commander was the brand name Challenger used in Canada, & understand they are obsolete,but in the US they have no value.

In Canada they may be of value, but have no idea.

Those are not used in the US.

Would have to check markets in canada...

Yeah I've rescued cool stuff from the bin only to find people are too cheap to even pay a few bucks for it. Even though if they go to a hardware store it's going to cost them $$$ and chances are the new stuff isn't made as well.

So I either use it, save it for the future, give to friends, or sit it on the curb for scavengers or scrappers. Friend of mine has a dozen rental houses, so he has a 6 car garage full of materials he's gotten for free from CL or dirt cheap. He uses it for his houses. It's like a Home Depot in there.

I think there is a company that refurbs them here in the Vancouver region, because there is still enough demand. I believe I was quoted about $150 for a dbl 40 last winter. I ended up getting a used one off another contractor friend for $15. I needed one and even at $150 it would have still been cheaper and faster than changing out the whole panel.
