Found this in a bunch of stuff from my late grandpa's garage. From the plate on it I got Commander AC Grinder 1/4 HP and one the bottom of the tag, Sears Roebuck. I haven't tested it, cord looked a little sketchy. Anybody know anything about Commander grinders?

It has a two wire line cord; if it is the original then that definitely puts it in the 1940- 1950 range, but since the exposed inner insulation type is what used to be called double cotton covered, I'm leaning towards mid to late 1940's.
