Been looking for side mount opener for my 12'W x 11'H garage door.
Currently has a chain opener.
Don't need remote operation.
Saw this one come up on marketplace. Think it would fit the bill? Am I missing anything?
Thanks.

Assuming your door has torsion springs on a rod over the door you need the gear that goes on the rod and the chain between the 2 gears. Looks like a commercial unit unlikely to have built in wireless remote controls. The wired control is likely a 3 button station. No auto reverse or photo sensors it will do its best to crush any obstacle. Note this will also lack the slack cable safety sensor. Should the door stick open this opener will unwind the cables if the door then decides to move it will free fall to the bottom of the track violently.

Thanks for that. Had not considered the safety feature aspects.

Buddy had the door to his bay stick and fall. Broke one of the cables, which damaged the door. He was lucky he’d just pulled a car in, he said he was sure they wouldn’t have hurried to fix it otherwise. I didn’t realize the commercial openers lacked that, though I knew the others.

Run far away from that thing. Is your door standard lift, low headroom, roof pitch, high lift, or vertical lift? That will guide your solution.

Standard lift, low headroom to a flat ceiling.

Definitely want a side opener.

Not sure ALL of them lack the slack sensor but the old ones almost certainly don’t have them.

I like a bargain as much as anyone but operable garage door openers seems unlikely to get upgraded on a whim.

I have a lift that looks like that on a 10X10 door not side mouned but on the center track. As noted it is a clunker, mine has a wireless remote but no safety features. It is also very well worn, walta's mention of if it ain't broke comes to mind!
