I just purchased a 900sqft. industrial garage unit. Plan on building a loft in it around 16x18. Its a cool unit with 200 Amp service, Gas Heat, and water with drain already plumbed. Any input on ideas to make this a great space for my Electrical panel shop would be appretiated.

Secondly I am so impressed with this unit and the apparent popularity of these units I am thinking of investing in building some of these. What do you guys think of these type garages? They range from 900 to 1800 sqft. 14x14 overhead doors and entry door.

They call them commercial condos around my parts. I like the idea, but they were pretty pricey. Of course I would be a problem as there was no outside storage allowed. I have a 1500 SF shop with about 30,000 SF of storage outside!

I've seen a couple near my, they were very high end and built near an expensive subdivision (for people to store all their toys)...

I would think the biggest liability is people pouring stuff down the drain that they shouldn't... Also people painting without a proper setup (insurance liability).

Sorry this took so long but have issues with the pics. This is the space and is a work in progress. The shot of the race deck is the mezzanine level. Will continue to post pics as things progress.
