Compact NG heater?

I have a 24x24 garage, 12' ceilings. Fully insulated. I'm in Canada, there are weeks where it is -40.

What is a compact heater? I was looking at a few and they seem just huge.
A larger one wouldn't be as bad if I could put it on the opposite side that I want to vent it from.

And is there high efficiency garage heaters like house furnaces?
