I don't actually have a explicit need for it but something like this came to mind and I decided I want it, a relatable series of events to many of us.
I am looking for a bit driver that is perhaps the length of a tooth brush give or take, with a very thin handle, 1" to 1/2" in diameter, like what you might see for a bit handle of a 1/8 shank mini screwdriver handle. But has an exposed metal shank of perhaps of about 3". I found this Wiha 1/4 socket driver to give a rough idea of what I mean, alternatively imagine a Wera 813, but it has 2.5"-3.5" of shank sticking out. Could obviously make one out of a mini scewdriver and a hex extension real quick, but I'm curious if there's anything commercially available.

I have the USA-made K20 magnetic stainless steel pocket screwdriver coupled with a Prestacycle bit holder.
Both have very strong magnets so may not be ideal around sensitive electronics.
Not exactly what you are after but similar in function.

Countycomm has some pretty cool precision screwdrivers for 1/4 bits, but they can be hit or miss with availability.

IMG_0196.jpgThis came from Amazon today - can be used as a screwdriver with a hex bit, or a hex bit driver. Hex driver claims to be 72 teeth and there's a reversing switch. Material is stainless. Going in my small 'road' toolbox. Manufacturer is Sabercut. Quality is good, but not great. I think I can use a .25" rod through the ratchet it will function as a "T" handle too.

Make one for yourself. You should be able to turn down the handle of driver.

Hey, your product image for the above tool is incorrect. It shows a 4,5 nutdriver. Just FYI.
Sure enough! Thanks for pointing it out. Many time brands provide us with one image for a large swath of products (i.e. one nutdriver photo for all the nutdrivers in their line). We do what we can to take new ones and stay on top of it, but it is an uphill battle! We will definitely add this on to the list though. Thanks!
