Compacting outside new slab?

Just poured a new slab on Monday. How long is it safe to wait before I can plate compact the grade leading into the garage door opening. The material will be about a foot thick. I didn't know if the vibration will hurt anything. Better safe then sorry

You are fine standard concrete mix is 75 percent or more within one week. Full cure in one month.

Just don't let the plate compactor vibrate against the slab as you get the thickness built up, it could chip a corner even on a cured slab
