After searching Craig's List and Marketplace for a few weeks looking for and old decent drill press to clean-up/refurb, I finally found a neat one. I was looking for a Craftsman 100/150 but I seem to always be a little late or couldn't get the seller to respond. I had browsed over this ad a few times but going by the picture, it looked to be in not so good condition. Thought I'd take a chance and check it out. It's much better condition than the pictures and runs exceptionally smooth. The only sound is the old, loose belt making a slight thump every so often. Now I'm considering just giving it a good spit shine, lube it up, and put it to use.
Couple of question:
Has anyone dealt with one of these. Haven't found much information about it yet since I just picked it up a couple hours ago.
The chuck mounting looks odd like something missing?
I have to address the slanted motor mounting issue but may just be able to adjust or worst case, I'll mill out and adaptor plate to get it in line.

Guy had it listed for $120 but said if I wanted it in the next day or so, he'd take $65. Suited me fine after hearing it run.

I believe those do not use bearings and are pretty light duty. I have not researched them though so I could easily be wrong.
