Compatible GFCI breakers in a GE panel

I'm working on wiring up a hot tub and ran into a snag I wasn't expecting. I need a 50 amp gfci breaker that fits a GE load center. The problem is that 50 amp GE branded GFCI breakers just do t seem to exist. Either nobody carries them or they have been out of stock for months. Even amazon doesn't carry it. I found one used on ebay a d they want $400 for it. Will any other brand fit? I can find a Seimens breakerthat looks very close but since most places don't allow breakers to be returned I'm leary to drop $130 just to try it out. Thete has to be a better solution than installing a different brand sub panel or replacing the main load center.

Even though other brands will fit, it's gotta be GE in order to be compliant. Why not get a GE two pole 50 non GFCI breaker and a 50 amp hot tub disconnect? That will have the GFCI breaker in it, and usually costs about 2/3 what the breaker alone does. I haven't set foot in a Home Depot in years so I don't know for sure, but they used to carry GE hot tub panels. You could get one of those and take the breaker out if it's really important to have the GFCI in the panel and not the disconnect.

They only sell eaton gfci spa panels at both big box stores plus I already have a disconnect installed with conduit and wires already in place. I only have the panel left to wire. I would really like to put a GE GFCI breaker in if I could actually find one for sale somewhere.

What kind of disconnect do you have? Could you get a GFCI breaker to fit in it? If you want it to be done right, you are going to need to either find a GE breaker for the panel or do something with the disconnect and that something might be get rid of it and install a spa panel. I found several GE 250 GFCI breakers online, they were about $400 each.

Here's a GE spa panel. You could take the breaker out of it and throw the rest away.

Some time ago GE used to rebrand Siemens breakers for some of their afci and GFCI breakers. They don't do it anymore but I have used a Siemens branded breaker in a pinch.

GE used BR GFCI breakers at one time, pulled some rebranded ones from from Midwest spa panels, who were owned by GE, seems that GE used Eaton/Cutler-Hammer for their modular metering too, have a couple of C-H CHB bolt-on breakers branded as GE THQB.
