Adding a small deck outside the garage and have left over composite decking but don't like the color. I see that Behr "Solid Color Wood Stain" can be used on these boards. Question is, can it be used to change the color of the original board or is it designed to make the original color look new again?? I have gray and want to make it a darker color. Before I spend a fortune for a gallon of this stuff I'd like to see if anybody has used it and how well it lasts,,
