Compound Tool Rest

Hi all,

I have an older compound tool rest with a base that I am not sure of origin. It looks like a South Bend maybe 13" or larger but not positive. Can someone help me get positive ID on it. thanks

I have a 13 SB i will look at it tomorrow if no one knows. What are your plans for it? I was thinking alot of its parts has 13 cast on them.

looks a lot like my Logan! especially with that same chunk missing!

Pretty sure its not SB. At least not one from the '50s or newer.

Look up that K number on the side. It looks different than the one on my 9A.

The SBL's I've seen all have a center pivot / post that is locked into place via 2 set screws from the top of the carriage, not bolted directly to it.

Otherwise not sure what vintage or make it is...

That chunk missing is the classic "used by students in a school shop / learning environment" mishap. Just like the drilled holes in top of a drill press table...

I did try looking up the stamped numbers on it and nothing came up. From what I can gather I looks like it came from Leblond.
