Compressed air filter system may be too large

Below is photo of Dryaire filter system I just got. It's meant to be mounted on a wall. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle installing it. The filter system is heavy too. With my old system I just had a pipe stick out in the air off of a T with the filter and regulator attached to the pipe; that's not going to do for this thing. Hope I don't end up having to sell it.

Dessicant systems are usually made like that. The air needs to pass through a long length of pipe in contact with the dessicant to properly remove the water from the air, hence the long tube. A short or small cannister is not going to work effectively.

What CFM is this one rated for? Maybe that is the problem... it might be designed for a large system like you said.

Do they sell a wall mount kit for it? That's what I'd use.

Stage 1 rated for 108 CFM removes to 5 microns
Stage 2 rated for 35 CFM removes to .01microns
Stage 3 rated for 30 CFM to remove uncondensed mositure

Do they sell a wall mount kit for it?

The unit comes with the wall mount. I just don't have space to mount it on a wall.

Try to make some space if you can, you'll love the DRY air . That is a nice unit, we have one at the body shop the same length but the canister is a bit bigger in dia. They work really well.
