compression style battery terminal clamps

I broke a terminal clamp on a Harley three wheeler that belongs to my lady friend. I tried a cheap lead clamp type but it's junk and I'm sorry I even tried it. I've never used the compression type. I can see by looking at them that I'm going to have to determine my wire gauge to do it properly. I can and will replace the entire wire as a unit if I have to but I'm trying not to do that.

Are those type of replacement clamps viable or are they a gimmick? I don't want to do this repeatedly.

Thanks for any input.

Crimp on with heat shrink over top are the best way but you would need a crimp tool to do it correctly, the compression type do work quite well but you will need the correct size and again cover with heat shrink tubing.

All motorcycles I've ever worked on had screw terminals.

Do the 3-wheeled motorcycles commonly come with larger automotive style batteries with the lead posts?
