Looking for a new compressor belt for an old Charge Air Pro 5hp 60gal. I've searched online with no results. Last option going to the auto parts store and comparing?

Most compressors have a pretty wide range of adjustment on the motor side (it would be on slides). Use a piece of string around the pulleys (not IN the groove but around the pulleys) and get a gates belt a little under that size. Width can be determined by the groove width. Like I said it should have a fairly good range of adjustment so there is no need to be exact.

do you have an industrial supplier in your area? they will have them or be able to get them for you. automotive belts are not rated for heavy use and wont last on your compressor.

If you have the old belt intact (Im assuming its a v belt, ribbed, or cogged v belt) your local parts house should be able to match it up if you can't find a pn# online. if not measure the pulley to pulley distance at the middle point of adjustment and measure with a string.
