Ok, got a Q. I am in the process of re building my compressor. I got a donor tank since my 80gal got a hole in it. I have a question about the tank fill line. The compressor pump I am using from my original setup has a 5/8" copper supply line going into a 1" bung that houses the check valve. The tank I am using only has 2 1/2" bungs in it as well as the 2; 2 1/2" plugs on the side of the tank. Will I cause too much head pressure on the pump if I use the new tanks check valve? There is a huge size difference between the two. I see there are 1/2" cv's that are good for up to 20cfm available, I just have no idea what the one I have is rated for. My current pump and motor was putting out 16cfm on my old 80gal tank. The new tank had a label on it that said 12cfm.
Also, what is this piece called? It was screwed in just below the pressure switch in a T.
