Kinda missed the part on the THHN ground being green, not Romex white. Yes, I left a lot of slack.

Not color code, correct, but there's no neutral on the comp, so the next owner hopefully should see that the bare ground continues to be the ground, even though it's white, for the remaining twelve inches to the compressor.

Thanks again for the help, flame retardant suit on,....

There is so much hack work in my home/shop that the last home owner did and that, I am sure, was part of his thinking too. "Its obvious" "Its just this small run" ETC.

Everytime I work on something it is a WTF endeavour.

Please don't Fsck it up for the next guy, let alone your self! In 5yrs you will forget some of these obvious things you did and wish you did it right.

Plus, take pride in your work, do it to code close as possible.

I believe that the liquidtite whip needs to go all the way to the pressure switch. On the long sides of the switch there should be 3/4” knockouts for the flex. It looks like you’ve got the whip ending at the motor/compressor mount bracket and unprotected/exposed THHN then going to the pressure switch’s strain relief that’s meant for cord.
