compressor drains

My compressor leaves a puddle on my nice clean floor. Besides a floor drain, or a line to the outside, does anyone have a way or process to catch the drain line discharge?
It is just messy - very messy if I dump it - too far from wall to run a line and PC world says no drains for fear of ground water.

My Husky has the drain on the side, high enough so you can put a bucket under it.

I have a small baking pan under the one at the shop. I just leave it there, it generally evaporates by the end of each day. We drain the compressor every AM before we turn it on.

Granigers, McMaster Carr, etc. have small electric automatic air compressor tank drains that cycle via a timer. Use 3/8 plastic or copper or metal line and pipe through the wall to the outside, giving the drained water back to nature where it belongs.

Mine just drains onto a little piece of cow mat, and evaporates in no time. Your experience in a humid climate might be different.

Mine is still on the pallet it came with, so the drain is high enough that I cound run a hose into a small container with a lid which catches the water I drain. It mostly evaporates, but I can also dump it outside if needed.

Before the automatic drains were installed at work we had a short 2-3' section of hose attached to the drain and would hold it in a pail while we opened the drain up.

this is the same kinda setup i plumbed into our heavy eq shops compressor.
i clamped the valve to the wall and ran another hose outside the building.
at the end of the day, shut down the compressor and kick the valve open, and walk away
