I knocked over my HF 2hp/29gal compressor and smashed the gauges. Should I replace with same or are the better replacements out there for the regulator/gauges? Any suggestions?

Thanks

A pic would be helpful. My local hardware has replacement gauges on the shelf. In my experience USA made ones are a little better and show more longevity that the cheap imported ones. At work we use mostly Ashcroft which seem pretty good. The have real glass lenses and are all metal as opposed to plastic.

Ashcroft sells both cheap and high quality gauges. The gauge doesn't do anything except tell you what's in the tank. Generally anything cheap will be +/- 5psi. More accuracy costs serveral times more than the cheapies which work just fine.
