Compressor head gasket blew out

Hey all so my 2 cylinder single stage compressor head gasket blew out yesterday. The compressor came with a spare gasket. Is it as simple as removing the 4 head bolts cleaning off the old gasket and reinstall?

What do I torque the bolts to? The compressor is a Maxair 12.5 cfm. (Made by eagle)

yes, you first will have to remove the Intake/Filter element and Valves (usually reed type) they typically should sit on top, of the individual cylinder(s). Replace the gasket and re-assemble. Not sure on the torque, call the mfg if not in the manual.

The reed valves will be the most difficult to re assemble keeping them in place. be sure they are in perfect as you don't want to bend or distort them.

Use a thin coat of Vaseline on the reeds
