Wondering is someone can help with identify is compressor. Currently I figure it's putting out about 1.5 cfm but the compressor is only running at 350 rpm I ordered a bigger pulley for the motor and plan on putting a two HP on it. I took the top off and plan on cleaning the Reed valves. The tube going to the tank is only quarter inch I plan to go up to 3/8 or half to hopefully get better air flow. Also what I think is the check valve isn't working. I was wondering if there is a way to calculate cfm based off bore stroke and rpm? Bore is about 2 inch in diameter and 2.25 in stroke. This is a really quiet running compressor I'm just hopping I can get it to flow a little better.

.7854 x bore diameter squared x stroke length gives the volume of one cylinder. Multiply the volume by rpm x number of cylinders on a single stage compressor to get free air. Actual efficiency will be less, so figure about 80 percent of that volume. Keep the rpm below 1000. Hp requirements are around 1hp per 4cfm @ 100 psi.

sure looks like an old refrigeration compressor to me.

Definitely a refrigeration compressor based on the service valve located below the pistons. On a ref comp, the returning refrigerant enters in the crankcase and carries oil throughout the system continuously.

Because of the operating design, a ref comp has no oil control rings on the pistons. When used as an air compressor, they pump excessive amounts of oil all the time.
