Compressor: How to disconnect unloader valve?

I had to replace the pressure switch on my McGraw compressor. I'm not sure how to disconnect the the old valve and the new one came with a different connector, so I'm unsure how I would match them back together. Below are the pictures of my current connector

This is the original connector (black). Unsure how to disconnect this piece. It has a small piece of brass that appears to be locking it into place.

This is the new connector "plated." Unsure how this will connect to the line that I currently have.

the new switch is probably a 1/4" compression or possible a flare connection. that silver nut will thread off
the old line, probably just cut it off at the fitting . it could be a push to connect but can't tell from the picture

Thank you for the replies. In the first picture I have of the black fitting, I can get the plastic line disconnected, I just can't get it to unscrew from the pressure switch. It seems like that little brass pin may be related, but I don't know how. It looks like it would press out, but I'm not able to get it, so I'm not sure if that's what I'm supposed to do.

The plastic hardline will not bend to go into the new switch's unloader (the metal fitting) so I'm going to have to take the black, plastic one with the 90 degree bend off of the old switch and put it on the new one.
