Compressor ID?

I've had this compressor for a LONG time (> 20 years). I assembled it out of bits and pieces; Tank and motor were from a closing company, and I think I remember the pump was a dumps PU...

Tank is a Buehler Tank And Welding Works, and about 80 gallons, and the tag has a W.P. of 200 (I've got it set to shut off as 125...) It appears to have a date code of 1971

The mystery, is the pump. It has a logo of a "W" over an "M" with a bar between the tag is beyond reading. Obliterated, even with photo enhancing. I can make out the ghost of a "G" on it and the top line MIGHT say Westinghouse, after trying during the day, and under different lights... (Which would tie into the "W/M"... Single cylinder, seems to work fine overall. I did Google up one reference to "Westinghouse/Maytag" which might be the ticket, but I was unable to come up with anything else to tie the two companies together.

Any guesses as to age, and verification of the maker of the pump?

That motor is an old 1-1/2 horse, wired for 220 Single phase, and turns 3500 RPM.

I'm trying to decide whether to sell this beast off and settle for a smaller (and more easily stored) 20 gallon job I have, or to keep this one around for that one day "dream shop" The deal breaker is the recovery rate on this is pretty slow (Pump is clearly too small for very fast recovery), but I'm wondering if I can ID the pump and see if I'm under-driving it and might could increase the speed?

I definitely agree with Westinghouse. I was able to absolutely make out these letters on the badge.

It still seems weird with the big "G' on the tag, and the W/M cast into the side cover.

Any hint on age/top reasonable speed for the pump? Anyone?
