compressor leak or expected behavior?

I just fired up my Champion Centurion II compressor for the first time last night (I ended up with the 80 gal/5 HP/1850 motor RPM model after asking on here about compressors a while back--it seems like a good choice so far, but obviously I haven't had much experience with it yet). I put an automatic drain on it and left the drain plugged in last night when I was finishing up but turned off the power to the compressor. I don't hear any obvious leaks, but after leaving it overnight the tank pressure dropped from 140 PSI to 50. The drain is set for .5s/45 min (the shortest duration and longest interval it has); would it cause the pressure to drop that much, or do I need to look for a leak somewhere?

I was trying to avoid soaping up all of the connections straight away, but I don't know why I didn't think about turning off the drain to see what happened then. It may all be moot, though, as when I went back out tonight and it was a little quieter I found a small leak somewhere around the regulator. Hopefully that's the only one.

While you have invested in this do youself a favor and toss the drain. Put a tube, a ball valve and a hose out the wall. Crack the valve once in a while.
