I have an upright 6hp/60 gallon compressor and am trying to find the right material/approach to isolate the vibration on the floor. Open to suggestions as my searches have not came up with many options.

Thanks as I assumed there were some posts on it, just a matter of doing the correct search.

LOOK! a new guy!!!!!!!!

I made a 4 ft wide steel tubing support for the compressor. Didn't want to anchor it to the floor, and didn't want it falling over on its narrow little footprint.

I'm not sure how much "isolation" a hockey puck will provide. Those things are more dense than a block of wood!

Yep, a noob!

Mine is already isolated in an enclosed/insulated room in the corner of the garage (so tipping is not a concern), but the floor vibration can drive you nuts. One of the rubber feet options in the referenced thread from post 2 will fit the bill:beer:

You can also cut pads from tire treads. Find one from a truck along the hiway.

When I mounted my 80 gallon 2 stage SpeedAire compressor to the floor I used these I got from Grainger: Item number 2LVP7 Vibration Iso Pad, 4x4x3/4 In, w/hole. About 8 bucks a piece back in 2009. They work very nicely!

Something like these?

I need to bolt my compressor to something too. But need to mount with casters so that I can move it and get the shop cleaned up, tools accounted for and get ready to move to TX.
