I have a Quincy QT 54 60 gallon compressor and when it shuts off the gauge is slowly losing pressure. I have checked fittings listening for leaks and used soapy water. I can't find any leaks. I have replaced the gauge and pressure switch. The next thing on my list is the check valve. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yep, check valve gets my vote.
Do you know how to check the check valve? Remove the discharge line from the compressor head while the system is off and the tank pressurized. If air is coming from the discharge line you have a bad check valve. If no air then look elsewhere. Have you checked the drain valve for leakage? Do you have the compressor isolated from ALL outside piping?

Just remove it. They can generally be cleaned and reassembled.
I would check the check valve as well.

Interested in this. I have the same compressor. I don't have this issue with the compressor, but I DID have an issue with my previous compressor. Turned out it was a quick disconnect fitting that was leaking through the fitting and not where it attached.

You don't have to remove the supply line from the compressor head, you can just loosen it and soap it. However, any fitting you loosen ups the chances it will leak once tightened. Better to remove and reassemble with tape. The supply line leaking a tiny amount won't affect anything. The check valve may just be dirty.
