Im new to the site so im not sure if this is the right place to post this but i picked up a 5 gallon craftsman compressor that someone threw out.. its in great condition other than the motor being blown.. now i can get a motor for it easy at harbor freight but i cant find anyone who sells the actual part that compresses the air.. that one cylinder.. does anyone know where i can find it??

Hello, have you gone to Sears parts and looked up the compressor model#, it should list the parts available.

if you have the model # sears parts should have a parts breakdown.
seem slike a lot of sears compressors share parts. might even try looking at a similar model and see if parts are available for it

A bad motor and a bad pump... Is there anything left but the tank and pressure switch?
ok illl deff look all that up in a minute.. no but the tank is in perfect condition so for a 20$ motor and maybe a $20 part i might as well.. and for a 5gallon tank its pretty good price
