Hey guys.
I've got a dilema for ya.
I'm currently using a 35gal oilless husky compressor, Its worked OK so far. Longggg, frequent wait times to get back up to PSI and is just very loud.
A relative of mine set me up with a real nice compressor this month, handed down to me. a 60-gallon Sanborn 5hp unit.
.
NOW of course They told me it could be switched over to 110v, being that i dont have 220v in my workshop (The compressor is currently set up for 220) And it just not possible to have 220 anytime soon.
Looking at the motor i expected to see "110/220" on the data plate, BUT i only see 220.
is there another way i could run this on 110? or even replace the motor with a 110 unit? the compressor was free, so i dont mind investing some money in it.
here is the same model i have.
I'm bummed out to say the least... Any word of wisdom?
Thanks
