Today I installed my new Baldor 5 HP motor and put the block on the tank....

New Siemens 5 HP motor starter and accessory on/off switch are on order and will be here by the middle of next week!!!

That thing is so pretty your not going to want to run it. I'd put a wire fence around it so it couldn't get scratched!

@Mmfh: I really enjoy restoring old tools and have done several woodworking tools over the years...but trust me when I say it will be used!! Now, will I do routine maintenance and keep it clean and shiny? Oh hell yea, but it'll be a workhorse for years to come!!

@Waggie: It came with a 5 HP Baldor that was 3-phase and even though I tested it at the previous owners and the motor ran true and smooth, I don't have 3-phase. I have always used a very basic estimate of ~$100/HP, so at $379 with FREE shipping I thought it was a great deal. I searched for other places and found these folks to be the best!! I aslo bought the magnetic starter and on/off there and that should arrive mid-next week...
