Good evening...

After a busy few weeks of 2x/day in the gym and work being crazy, I finally am able to post another update to my compressor rebuild.

Over the past few weeks I managed to get numerous flushes of the tank, both with hose pressure from the house sillcock as well as higher pressure from the pressure washer. Also completed was a color sand with 600 grit, a 2nd coat of paint and a final color sand.

Today I gave the tank its 3rd and final coat of Navy Blue paint...and wanted to post some pictures to show the progress.

In and amongst all that I restored the Square-D pressure switch, cleaned and painted all the tank plugs and polished the 1/4" copper pressure switch feed tubing. Once the tank dries I'll buff it and then start installing some components. Yes, more pics will be posted soon!!!

Not too bad for a few rattle cans of Rust-Oleum. But then again, I plan on buffing the finish after it hardens for a couple of weeks :):):)...

Not sure if that is a sign of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or not...but it'll at least shine in the shop :bounce::bounce::bounce:
