Well...the compressor rebuild is still in progress albeit slower than I would like. The pump has been completely disassembled and all parts were bagged and tagged. Each was then meticulously cleaned to remove all grease and oil, washed in warm soapy water, dried and then media blasted using glass beads. Another clean, wash and dry and then 2 primer coats and 2-3 finish coats of paint. Most of the larger components are completed and ready for reassembly.

This weekend I'll be ordering the valve (not shown) rebuild kits so I can get them assembled and, once assembled, dip them in compressor oil and hang them and allow the excess to drip off.

I just have to finish painting the cylinder-to-cylinder finned connector pipes and a few bolt heads and screws and the cleaning and painting is complete...
