I need to replace my compressor I use for brad, and finish nailing. Any recommendations in the 100 to $150 range? Weight and lower noise are high on my list

I have the tiny 1 gallon Hitachi/Metabo HPT quiet. Mine has been reliable and nice and quiet and it keeps up with my hobbyist use of a 15ga angle nailer. I'm certain in professional trimming it would absolutely not keep up.

Mine has been reliable but a friend who bought the same one had issues that drove him to scrap it and buy the Fortress/HF compressor.
My rule is this: if the compressor is to be used indoors, it absolutely must be a "quiet" model. If it's outdoors only, it can be as loud as a low speed oil lubed indirect drive compressor, but not more.

In other words, don't buy an oilfree indirect drive that doesn't specifically advertise as "quiet". My old Ironforce measures 104db 1m away and I hate it.

28lb is about was light as any compressor is going to get. If you could find it I would suggest at CAT 5510A. Not the 5510SE. It's a 5.5gal 2.3cfm aluminum tank, CAT compressor. It's a bit over 30lb and quiet. I'm not sure they are still available new but if you find a used one it's probably a very good option.

After suffering with the ubiquitous pancake compressor, I went with this:

half because it is touted as quiet, half because of the Strong Start.
It lived under a tree at the end of a 100’ 12awg extension cord the entire summer I was building my shop.
A friend brought his little upright oil-less to help on truss day and it wouldn’t start on that same cord, then melted his 100’ 16 gauge cord trying and failing to start.
