Compressor repair help. What did i break and how do I fix it?

Bought this little compressor used awhile ago. It worked great, but an employee broke a valve somehow awhile back and I don't recall for the life of me what happened or what broke. Clearly there was some 3 way valve here but I've no idea what it was or what I need to buy to replace. Seems to manage pressure to some extent. Any help is appreciated.

From what I can tell, it looks like the part of the pressure switch broke. You can buy a replacement fairly cheap. Here's one i've used in the past:

Looks like a relief valve that screws into the pressure switch. A less macro photo(s) of the parts would be helpful.
