Just picked up a 80s sears best air compressor 919.15668 is currently wired up for 110 20 amp service and I would like to change that to 220v motor says amp draw at 110 is 22 ams and at 220 is 11 I have two 30 amp 220 plugs for welder and small oven that can be used and a 40 amp from my eaton I just sold. anyways I am confused by the plate on the motor end and how to rearrange the wires sears sells no manual for this compressor so Im out of luck with them.
the picture of the plate isnt very good but the top picture is showing high voltage 220 the lower one is showing low 110 I guess what is confusing me is the way its saying white and orange It looks like to me where they want you to plug in the white there is already a orange plugged into the post so if that gets unplugged what do I do with the other orange. any help would be great
Josh
