Just got my new pancake compressor. It came with absolutely nothing. So my question is what do I all need to get started? Also, I did the compressor 15 minute compressor break in with nothing connected and then let the compressor fill up to its max 150 psi and the air pressure slowly drops after 5 - 10 minutes it is down at least 5 or 10 psi. I cannot hear any air leaking, is this normal or are you supposed to have to put sealant tape on a brand new compressor? Also, for connecting air tools and such do I need thread tape for those as well to get them started?

this is my first compressor so I could use some air compressor 101 to help get started.

Its leaking somewhere, mix up some soapy water and spray all the joints and look for bubbles. I have an old sears 10 gallon that will hold 80lbs for days on end, you have a leak somewhere.
