Compressor shed ideas wanted

Hello,

I just put this 600+lb Quincy on a 4x5 concrete slab I had poured behind my workshop.
Now I need to shelter it and I wanted to get some ideas. I live in an area where we have brutal summers but pretty mild the rest of the year, so it needs some air ventilation.

I would like some suggestions/photos showing what others have done.

Outhouse structure with some headroom for heat dissipation and 2x6 wall framing so you can insulate with R19 to cut the noise for your neighbors.

If all you need is sun protection, why not simply build a roof to cover it? a bit of concrete, four pressure-treated 4x4's and a bit of corrugated plastic or metal roofing would be vastly cheaper than a full shed.

To keep the wall framing thin I would frame it with 2x3's. 3 walls with no wall at existing building. Fasten securely to slab.

Do not attach structure to existing building so it can be removed later if needed, but scribe a trim piece to the existing wall and use a piece of compressed removable foam for closure at the existing wall. At the shed roof, slip flashing and counter flashing under the vinyl siding to shed water.

For access, construct a large door for each of the three walls. Either in the top of the front door, and/or in the triangle shape wall above the side access doors, install louvers for ventilation.

Sound insulate as needed.

Trim, roof and side to match existing structure.

Locks on access doors and lights inside and out, plus an outlet for connecting any needed power tools.
Treated sill plate.

I built a 4x4 outhouse shack for my outdoor compressor shed.
I also gave it has a large front door and a large removable hatch in the rear in the event I need to work on it

Two large door vents plus two vents up high

Three sided box that can slide away for access. Build it as light as possible and put oversized double extension slides attached to the slab. Or if you are a burly man jusp pick it up and move aside.
