60 Gal. Compressor speed?
Hi all! Love this site, just thought I would get your opinion on my new toy.
I recently picked up a US General 5Hp, two stage, 60 Gal compressor. After fixing a few things on it(Broken pressure switch, etc) I've got it running. It says it is good for ~15cfm at 90 PSI, and is set from the factory at 165PSI cutoff. I am currently running it at 150PSI.
Has a mag switch installed and draws a steady 12 Amps from start to stop(Motor Rated at 22 Amps).
My question is this; How long do your 60 Gallon compressors take to hit 150 PSI from dead empty?
The pump specs state 1500 RPM and it takes 5 minutes and 20 seconds to hit shutoff. For the record I'm very happy with the machine so far, this uses the same pump as the BelAire 216V (Same compressor as far as I'm concerned) and didn't even cost me half.

What say you, GJ? By the way, I know it's not a "great" compressor, and I don't care. No posts of; It's gonna die soon. Or; It's junk.
