compressor stand

Has anybody elevated their horizontal compressor off the floor?
I'm pressed for space and would like to park something under the elevated compressor. Any ideas??

I've seen at least one post here (some time ago), where someone placed their horizontal tank compressor, on a loft.

ive seen them on lofts before and also saw one mounted on the top of pallet racking. it was all ancored to the floor and wall. if i had a big shop like alot of the guys here thats what i would do

No reason you couldn’t do it.
If it is a vertical unit it is pretty top heavy, so anchor it well.

i always mount my compressors outdoors so i dont loose shop space or listen to the noise. can you do this instead?

I've always wall mounted mine. Same compressor........two locations.

just use some of the heavy duty pallet racking or gorrila racking and your set

if you are short on space and have the room for a pallet rack, they are worth their weight in gold

Pallet racking was one of the best additions to my shop 4 sure... I picked up 48 lineal foot of it 16' high for $425 at an online paint mixing plant auction!!! You sure can pack a lot of stuff up there...
