Compressor to hard line flex hose?

I am trying to find someone who sells a 3 to 4 foot section of hose to go from a compressor to steel pipe or copper. with the ends already done? I would think this would be better than using solid lines all the way to the tank, and I don't want to cut up a good hose just for this..
Thanks

page 221 has what you may need in stainless.

Length is measured end to end, including the fittings. Available in 12", 18", 24", 30", 36", 42", 48", 54", 60", 66", 72", 96", and 120" lengths, or any length you choose.

Other than that, try your local industrial supply businesses. Or surplus places, we have one in our area that has that sort of stuff. Never in the size I want.

You could go to a parts place that sells HD truck parts and get a brake line for a semi.

Go to farm supply store like TSC, you can buy a 1/2 hyd hose 3 ft for 10$ or so with pipe thread ends already on. It cant be beat. Hose barbs, air hose, hose clamps work too, you can buy a piece of 300# hose off the shelf too.

I just cut one and put new ends on it, otherwise I look at places who have ready made. I ran air through the ceiling way of my garage put cuts in where I have the over head reels.

That's an excellent suggestion!

I never thought of TSC. I made one up today from an old hose that had one good end, and used a barb/clamps for the other end.

Ramblur, maybe the photo is deceiving, but it looks like that compressor fan is pretty close to the wall. Does it move any air?

Ya that pic may be a little decieving. Fan is 6-8 inches from the wall
(about half the diameter of the fan) and moves plently of air. Has operated
like this for years with no issues with that cheesy aluminum pump...
