Compressor and piping have 1in FPT, so ideally I need 1in MPT rubber hose to hook up compressor to my piping.

I am looking and can't find anything bigger than 1/2 MPT hose. Do I look for unicorn or there is no need to have bigger hose? Line will be held at around 100PSI with 18-19CFM max

At that flow 1/2 is fine,, in fact good for double. Why limit this to 100? Run the comp to its potential and regulate downstream. If this comp shuts off at 100 it's below good tool pressure about as soon as you pull the trigger. Hi pressure gives headroom.

I set compressor to run 125-150. Then it goes up to my garage (from basement) where I have piping inside walls. I can do 110-120 no problem.

1/2 inch Milton G style connectors are good for 99 scfm. 1/2 line with fittings should be fine for your compressor.

Another question.. How do you connect hose to compressor and to the regulator? Is there specific union to use so I don't have to twist hose?

Depending on your line, it would depend on what you need.

I reduced my 3/4 fittings to 1/2 inch and then used Milton 1/2 fitting to feed my air manifold.

I also have a spare 1/2 whip line with 1/2 Milton g style fittings.

I am doing my process backwards. I am using a small air compressor to make sure what I build is sealed. I order my air compressor in a couple of months.

Here is more concrete "task" with picture. I have compressor, 1in FMT thread in tank. I have copper pipe going out to garage, 3/4 FMT

I bought:
1/2MPT 6ft hose:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z1K7INQ/?tag=atomicindus08-20

1/2 filter regulator kit:
https://www.tptools.com/1and2-Delux...tor-and-Separator-Combo,8658.html?sku=3411-07

I can install plywood on a right wall and mount regulator there. Not sure where union should be and what sizes to use.. Should I use another whip hose (they tend to dry out, I had many over years go bad) or install hose with regulator together, then mount regulator and then come up with brass piece with union between regulator and 3/4 inlet?

What would you do?

Look into some SAE 100 R1AT hose with crimped ends to fit your needs, My Compressor has a 1-1/8" NPT fitting on the end of the tank I wanted to use.....Bought a 1-1/8" MPT to -12 AN/JIC fitting adapter for the hose. The other end can be whatever NPT thread you need.

I like having a AN/JIC nut at one end to aid installation/clocking of the hose/whip. I don't regulate my air at the compressor. I have regulators/dryers to go between my drops & air hoses if needed.

Those "Red" 300wp whips are junk, And will dry rot or develop blisters fairly quickly.

My 8' whip & adaptor fitting was less than $60 at Midwest Hose Specialties.

Everything after a ball valve, union, whip. 3x4 hy hose at tsc is reasonable and has installed fittings.
