Getting ready to wire up my new compressor and want to be sure I am good to go.

My electrical service: fuse panel; double pull 30 amp breaker at 240v. Three prong outlet is 250v 30 amp.

Compressor motor is phase 1, v 208-230, a 21-19, hz 60, etc.

Am I good to go or...?

19 amps running - what will the starting current be? 30 A might be a little light.....
What's the HP rating of the motor?

Heh, you've had a few posts on compressor stuff. Sorry, the baby avatar is startling.

Hard to tell with the info supplied but 19A@230V (sorry, but 230 is common on motors) 30A breaker (hopefully not too long 10AWG wire) you should be good to go.

Most circuit breakers (especially those marked "HACR") can easily handle the high starting currents of most compressors. This is often five times or more than the running (nameplate) amperes. You are all set.

Let me know what the horsepower of the motor is. I am an Air Compressor Mechanic by trade (16 Years) and can tell you everything you need to know about the set up of your unit.
