Any way to quiet down air compressor. Building new shop and thinking about putting it in its own room with vents and fans. Hard to talk when it is running. Upright Quincy. Don't remember model

Having the compressor outside would be my first choice.

If it must be inside, you could put it in a corner and build two walls around it. Adding an extension to the intake and running it outside will cut down on the noise.

Not sure of it would like getting wet. Definitely be inside
