Computing scale company restoration

I recently picked up a really cool scale from the computing scale company out of dayton ohio. It is style 144 with a patent date of 1896. I bought it knowing it was in non-working condition. It looks like it was from a hardware store so i thought it would look really cool in fhe garage. I am having a hard time getting any info on it off the net or a parts source. Wondering if anybody on this forum knows about these or where i can go for help. Thanks
