Hello men! We just closed on a house with our dream lot in south central Iowa. Only problem is it has no garage. I want to put up a 30x40 pole building. With removing one mature Cedar tree, i found about the most level site to put my pad. I have the builder set up to begin but he says he is about 6 weeks out. So my question is this...
Do i wait and pour the concrete after building is up, or pour slab now and put wet set brackets in and get the concrete done first so i don't have to worry about it later. Id like to hear about structure stability with poles in ground vs on slab..? And any other input. Thanks guys

All of mine (4) have been pole in ground construction. Combined with commercial girts, plenty of stability, no racking and able to frame inside and outside walls at the same time.

Ive always set the poles and band boards ,poured the floor, and then finished th building. I figured that way the posts were stabilized by the concrete,it was way eisier to get the trucks in to unload, and made a good surface for material processing and scaffolding.
