Concrete Crack Repair

The cracks and a few poppers in my concrete driveway have been there for years. I've tried all sorts of crack fillers and really expensive concrete epoxy and nothing lasts more than a winter. I mean it's literally gone by spring. The only thing that seems to last is tile grout in the pock marks. Looking for new ideas. What have you guys had success with?

Also have a shallow hand-sized corner of the sidewalk that spalled off. if I patch it with sand mix, it lasts a year or two. Need a more permanent fix for that too.
Wife says have the driveway apron and sidewalk torn out and repoured. ka-ching!

Bonding is key and freeze/thaw cycles are your enemy.
Find out what your town's or state's method for concrete roadway repair is.
Again, bonding, bonding, bonding. Any cracks that can pass water are bound to fail outside.

90% of the roads around here are asphalt. Some intersections and major highways are concrete. If the concrete gets a crack they patch it with tar. A hole gets patched with asphalt.

It's not much help but my sister had her driveway jacked up and the guys used this stuff to keep the water out. It's been there 5 years and this is how it looks. It was kind of a silver color when they fist applied it. We do have snowy winters.

Quikrete 10.1 oz. Self-Leveling Sealant. I sealed "ALL" my cracks and expansion joints with this about 3 Fall seasons ago. No water can get under my driveway middle, expand, and crack the driveway...reminds me to inspect all my joints and fix any issues before winter. I also use Thompson Concrete waterpoofer on the concrete to prevent sprawling when using salt. So far, so good...and I got a LOT of concrete! 150 ft from front to alley at 12 ft wide and 28ft wide in front of the 30ft long garage. Lots of cracked expansion joints to keep sealed! ....21 yrs old now. And as you see we get a lot of freezing snow and ice that I use a 2 stage snow blower to keep it clean....

The concrete on bridges is patched with concrete. It might be under bituminous, but it's concrete. And there are abutments, etc that get repairs. The state generally knows what they are doing in that regard.

Why make the crack any bigger than it already is? Plus risk hitting into the pex.

My concrete guru has told me that cracks are to be expected in a concrete slab.

He said nobody will steal it.
