Concrete cracking and top layer weathing

My drive way is really large. After cleaning it the top looks terrible. I can see the rocks and the finish does not look right. I am starting to get small cracks all over.

I also have some type of Black spacing board about every 10 feet that looks to be deteriorating.

Is there anyway to refinish it? The Drive is very large and it would be cost prohibitive to replace.

Any suggestions please?

There are polymer-modified micro toppings that are available for this purpose. Once the concrete is prepped properly, the toppings are mixed and spread out over the surface with a squeegee to produce a new looking surface. The top layer of the fiber board between the joints can be dug out and a self-leveling polyurea applied to create a clean looking joint. Youtube has many videos of companies who this type of work.

Ardex makes some good products for this. The link below has a video on how they work and the installation process. You may want to give them a call to find out which of their products would be best for the job and where you can find it in your area.

Patching products for concrete get a bad rap, but if the substrate is sound we've had some surprisingly good results with Ardex CD. Might be worth doing a small area to see how it works.
